Artist Bio
Diana McDaniel is new to the world of two-dimensional art. Her love for all things artistic has been a lifelong endeavor, and she has practiced in many media over the years including, most notably, wheel thrown pottery. By her own admission her work was unremarkable at best until she experienced a recent personal incident which she describes as a “head rattle”. She declines to discuss the incident in detail, but afterwards she discovered that she was able to create photorealistic soft pastel drawings. As a result of this incident, she has been diagnosed with a rare condition called Acquired Savant Syndrome. Fortunately, fate has provided her with this talent that she hopes to passionately enjoy and share for the rest of her life.
